Big 500
I produced 10 new pieces for the 2017 Big 500, located at the beginning of this gallery. The Big 500 is a wonderful fundraiser and celebration of local artists dreamed up by Chris Haberman. Each year, over 500 artists create up to 20 works apiece in a variety of media on 8x8" panels, which are each sold for $40, with $10 from each sale going to the Oregon Food Bank and the rest to the artist! It is always a lovely event and every Portland artist who participates looks forward to it with a sense of excitement and admiration for the mastermind behind it. Please note that all the pieces in this gallery have been sold. I'm looking forward to Big 500 in 2018, please consider going to the show and supporting both local artists and the cause of food security for Oregonians.
